As magician players in Black Rose Wars take part in an epic battle for supremacy of the legendary Black Rose Magic Academy. In a contest for power and strength, the entire academy is transformed into a battlefield of magic. Only those who prove themselves worthy will lead the academy in the next decade and thus be able to harness the power of the eponymous artifact, the Black Rose.
Each room in the academy has different abilities that the magi can use to their advantage. In addition, the magic they gradually learn gives them special strengths. Whether with the help of necromancy or raw destructive rage, there are many ways to prove yourself a rightful Grand Master. For a special challenge, the eponymous artifact itself takes part in the battle and puts the skills of the candidates to the test.
Black Rose Wars is a competitive fantasy game with deck building and combat elements, set during an alternative version of the Italian Renaissance. 34 miniatures underline the fantastic gaming experience and the magical battle for the Black Rose.
