Experience the rise of CATAN! Flourishing trade brings prosperity. The cities are thriving and prospering. But this wealth also attracts barbarians. Savage hordes threaten the island. There is little time to assemble a powerful army of knights. Woe to the cities if the knights are defeated! But how much should actually be invested in the army? Every investment means fewer resources for trade goods and settlement construction. It's always necessary to weigh personal gain against the benefit to the community. This expansion can only be used in conjunction with the base game. It can also be combined with the Seafarers and Traders & Barbarians expansions.
