The sound of clanking metal and rattling machines in the steam-filled air. This is what makes the entrepreneurial heart of the players beat faster. In Corrosion, you manage an old factory and build up varied production combinations. Their biggest threat is time, because corrosion is the enemy of their machines. It is therefore also their task to produce stainless chrome gears for powerful chrome machines. To do this, they must skillfully use their engineers to obtain new machines or engineers, or they turn the rust wheel to activate their machines. However, they should always pay attention to their older machines and gears, as these will rust when the rust wheel is turned. In Corrosion, players discover temporary and long-term combinations for balanced, efficient production and receive awards to outdo the other factory operators.
Corrosion is an innovative temporary engine builder in a class of its own from game designer Stefan Bauer with atmospheric artwork by Dennis Lohausen. Experienced game and expert groups as well as solo players can expect a challenging game that requires clever planning and sophisticated interaction. Changing starting conditions constantly open up new paths to victory.
