Endless Winter is set in North America in the early days of human settlement, around 10,000 years before our era. Lead your tribe over several generations and develop it from a modest hunter-gatherer colony into a prosperous tribal society. Tribes can discover and colonize new lands, increase their population, master big game hunting and build immortal megalithic structures.
Endless Winter - Survive the Last Ice Age is an amazingly exciting mix of worker placement and hand management for 1-4 players aged 12 and up by Stan Kordonskiy. You lead your own tribe over two ages of 2 rounds each. In each round, you use your workers or your great chieftain to advance your tribe. You can bring new tribe members into your tribe (with them you build your "deck"), make cultural progress (particularly strong cards), or hunt animals and let the tribe roam the harsh terrain by building camps and settlements. There are many exciting things to explore: Sacred stones earn you valuable points as the game progresses and the sooner you can get them, the more they will earn you. But you can also erect powerful megaliths. These bring you points or powerful bonuses!A solar eclipse awaits you at the end of each round. Here you pause briefly and receive income for what you have achieved so far; the new turn order is also determined in the solar eclipse. So you also need to prepare well for the eclipse if you want to be at the front of the pack.
Endless Winter is an upmarket game for connoisseurs with a lot of depth and variety, but in which everything fits together very naturally. Now it's up to you: can you lead your tribe through the ice age?
