Evacuation

The sun is expanding and will burn up all life on Earth in just a few years. But there is hope: a planet rich in plants, food and oxygen lies just a few light years away and space travel has finally progressed far enough for humanity to relocate there. But there is little time left to evacuate Earth and build a new thriving civilization. The aim is to develop the best settlement sites and the richest deposits of raw materials in the new world. A game of Evacuation begins with a fully functioning economy in the Old World, which, like the population, must be evacuated from there to the New World over the course of the game. However, the more production facilities are evacuated, the lower the income on the Old World becomes. As mixing resources from the two worlds is not permitted, players must plan well in advance in order to have enough resources for their next actions.
After they have received their income and fed the population, the players take it in turns to carry out actions. It is not only the action itself that is relevant, but also the power points that are generated, as these bring progress at the end of the round. The first player to increase the production of all resources on the New World to level 8 or more and have at least three stages on the new planet wins. A points mode and different variants or modules bring additional challenges and variance to the game.
