In the oceans around the equator, a beautiful habitat shines in bright colors. Coral reefs are underwater ecosystems and are home to many species. However, as a result of global warming, the reefs have declined massively in recent decades and it is up to us to protect them in order to keep them alive!
In Lumicora, players collect coral tiles, known as luminos, in different colors and build a new reef that expands in all directions. They have to build their luminos cleverly on top of each other to create a habitat for the sea creatures that live in the reef, while making sure that they always have enough limestone as a base for the reef. A game lasts ten rounds and at the end of each round, players have the opportunity to score points for one of four types of coral.
Lumicora is a fascinating, three-dimensional placement game that is all about clever planning and good timing. Alternative reverse sides with new challenges ensure high replay value.
