The time has come! The development of the jump drive has opened up the race to colonize the entire galaxy. In Race for the Galaxy, former colonies from Earth set out to found powerful space empires. In the process, they open up new worlds, develop new technologies and come across the artefacts of the Alien Overlords, a civilization that has mysteriously disappeared. Each round, players simultaneously and secretly choose one of their action cards and reveal it: Discover, Settle, Develop, Trade, Consume or Produce - which is most important? Only the action phases of revealed cards are dealt with, but may then be used by all players. Whoever is best able to take advantage of the other players' choice of actions will come out on top. The game particularly shines with its strongly interwoven card functions throughout the phases, which repeatedly present players with difficult decisions. With the revised second edition of Race for the Galaxy, Tom Lehmann's multi-award-winning expert game is finally back on the German market. It comes with new starting worlds and revised cards as well as an aid for the color-blind.
