Small World is about nothing less than the rise and fall of empires. Using a combination of fantasy races and special abilities of their own choosing, players try to build an empire, sometimes at the expense of their weaker neighbors. In Small World, dwarves, wizards, amazons, giants, orcs and even humans populate the game board. There is a battle for space on a world that is too small, because the land available is simply not enough for everyone. The key to success in Small World lies in recognizing the right time to let your own empire fall and lead another to new strength.
