The history of the human conquest of Avalon spans 1,000 years. Many creatures that lived on the island when Arthur first set foot on it died out or were banished in later times. And many other creatures were only discovered after centuries of strife. With the "Monsters of Avalon - Past and Future" expansion, players can add miniatures of these terrible dangers to the "The Last Knight" and "Time of Legends" campaigns! The expansion consists of 20 detailed miniatures and 20 encounter cards (alternate Guardian versions of 20 encounters already included in The Last Knight and Time of Legends campaigns). Tainted Grail: Monsters of Avalon - Past And Future is primarily a cosmetic add-on, but brings additional variety and immersion to the game through the introduction of new models and alternative encounters. The difficulty level is increased by the alternative Guardian versions of the encounter cards. Note: Although the outer packaging is in English, the included encounter cards are in German. Note: No miniatures for monsters from the base game are included, as these were Kickstarter Exclusives and are therefore not freely available.
