Voll auf die 18 – Das Känguru-Kartenspiel (Edition Spielwiese)
German
Marc-Uwe Kling is the author of the absurdly successful Kangaroo tetralogy. He had his big breakthrough with stories about a communist kangaroo who lives with the small-time artist Marc-Uwe and turns his life upside down. To coincide with the second Kangaroo film, Voll auf die 18 is a funny, cooperative and kaotic kangaroo card game with dice, which also offers 100 good arguments against Nazis.
Two to five players aged ten and over slip into the roles of kangaroos, cabaret artists or other members of the "Asocial Network". Together, they want to convince Nazis to make the world a better place. Each Nazi has an individual IQ. The players have to play cards with arguments (and numbers from 1 to 6), the sum of which corresponds exactly to the IQ of the respective Nazi. They can "argue" alone or together. Some Nazis have a soft spot for certain things (e.g. card colors) and bring further specifications into play. In addition, each character has their own rules that must be followed. The game is accompanied by an app that has 18 increasingly difficult levels and also acts as a timer, as new Nazis appear at regular intervals. The group loses if it is surrounded by Nazis. If, on the other hand, all the Nazis can be persuaded within the time limit, the players win together.
